We are a full service architecture studio known for design excellence in innovative wood structures and culturally sensitive designs that integrate with the landscape.
Formline Architecture is an award-winning architecture firm located in North Vancouver with clients and projects under construction across North America. The company is founded by Alfred Waugh, one of the few registered First Nations Architects in Canada.
Behind The Name
Formline refers to the Indigenous art of the Pacific Northwest, characterised by the caligraphic nature of its common motifs such as ovoids, U forms, and S forms. Formlines are continuous, flowing, curvilinear lines that turn, swell, and diminish eloquently.
